    Beebsy is built for parents. We take the privacy of your family's data very seriously. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
  

1. Who We Are

Beebsy is a baby tracking application developed and operated by Ivan Indjic. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@beebsy.io.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

Baby profile data — name, date of birth, and photo (optional)
Tracking records — feeding, fluid intake, sleep sessions, growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference), health symptoms, medicine doses, and reminders you create
Approximate location — coarse GPS coordinates, used only to show local weather on the home screen. This data is never stored on our servers or shared with anyone.
Device identifiers — anonymous identifiers used by RevenueCat to manage your subscription

3. How We Use Your Data

To display and manage your baby's tracking records within the app
To sync data across your family's devices when you enable Family Sync
To deliver local reminder notifications you have configured
To process and manage your premium subscription
To show local weather on the home screen (location only, never stored)

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable Family Sync, your tracking data is also stored in Google Firebase Firestore (a secure cloud database). Data is associated with your family group code and is not linked to any personal account or email address.

5. Third-Party Services

Beebsy uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase (Firestore) — cloud database for Family Sync. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Firebase Privacy Policy
RevenueCat — subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous device identifiers to verify purchases. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Open-Meteo — free weather API. Only your approximate coordinates are sent. No personal data, no account required. Open-Meteo Terms

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to provide the app's features.

7. Children's Privacy

Beebsy is designed for use by parents and caregivers. The app tracks data about infants but is operated by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data entered into the app is under the full control of the parent or caregiver using the app.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete the app. For cloud-synced data:

You can delete your family group from the Sync screen, which permanently removes all associated cloud data from Firebase

9. Security

All data transmitted between the app and Firebase is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Firebase data is stored in Google's secure infrastructure. We follow best practices to protect your information.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@beebsy.io.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
